The Bergen Telemetry Team have succesfully tagged 25 beautiful individuals of Atlantic cod captured from Store Lungegårdsvann in Bergen city! With interest and added fundings from Bergen Kommune, we are moving foreward with our project BOATS, tracking and monitoring wrasse, cod and trout in Store Lungegårdsvannet in a before -during - and after study of the response to restoration work for the fish species.
In the following months, we will be able to see how mobile cod use the city center, and when they move in and out of restoration affected areas - check out our gallery for some glimps of the tagging process!
